Presseinformation | Press release BMTS Technology starts production in plant Novi Sad Stuttgart/Novi Sad, November 27th, 2020 – BMTS Technology has successfully started production in its new plant in Novi Sad, Serbia. The first parts came off the production line on November 25th, 2020. At this location, high-efficiency turbochargers for passenger cars and commercial vehicles are assembled and industry-leading quality components are produced. Current planning is based on an annual capacity of two million turbocharging units. The new plant has high-precision machining and assembly facilities that meet the special requirements in terms of technology and the environment. The production concept also includes an end-of-line test, in which each produced unit is checked for functionality and conformity before it leaves the factory. When building the new site, it was important to incorporate the expertise and standards of the existing sites in St. Michael, Austria, and Blaichach, Germany. Approximately 70 new employees were trained at the main plants in Austria and Germany to ensure that the new plant will also deliver outstanding quality from the very beginning. BMTS Technology has continuously expanded its production network and adapted it to the global market requirements. The plant in Novi Sad now completes the international network of plants.
