DocuSign Envelope ID: 4E722846-CC90-4480-A202-A0238698A644 January 7, 2021 BOARD RESOLUTIONS At the Special Meeting of the Board of Directors of Lakeshore Intergenerational School on January 7, 2021 following resolutions was proposed and approved by the board: WHEREAS On November 18, 2020, the Cuyahoga County Board of Health issued a resolution to implement a COVID-19 Stay-at-Home Health Advisory, effective November 18, 2020 through December 17, 2020. The resolution stated “K-12 schools that are currently implementing a hybrid or full in-person protocol are advised to transition to online remote learning after the Thanksgiving Holiday.” On that day, The Lakeshore Intergenerational School approved a motion to maintain teaching and learning remotely until Monday, January 11, 2021 in order to mitigate exposure and transmission risk during the holiday season, and limit student re-acclimation time to January; and WHEREAS The Lakeshore Intergenerational School Board met on December 8, 2020 and approved amendments to the baseline COVID-19 Learning Plan which include following the Cuyahoga County Board of Health recommendations for K-12 remote learning when issued and in mid-January if community cases of COVID-19 plateau or decline, the Board will consider some form of re-opening during the State’s Public Health Assessment Level Red no sooner than January 19, 2021. WHEREAS the Lakeshore Intergenerational School Board of Directors continues to review and analyze all relevant community health data, and is receiving expert medical advice and safety guidance from MetroHealth School-Based Program Physician, Dr. Vanessa Maier, in order to make an informed decision on any adjustments or changes to the current School COVID Plan and subsequent Amendments approved thus far. IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED that Lakeshore Intergenerational School Board has reviewed and approves the following the board action items at the Special Board Meeting on January 7, 2021. a. Lakeshore Intergenerational School will phase in their population starting with the teachers the week of January 18th. Near West to offer only 4-day in person learning or fully remote learning, eliminating the 2-day hybrid option.
