The total capacity of plant is 662,400m3/d and the plant area is about 230,000m2. The wastewater is treated using Activated Sludge Process. The project includes civil works and electrical, mechanical, auto-control system engineering of following components: inlet screen, grit chamber, pumps, and primary settling tanks. In this project, the depth of inlet pipe is more than 40 meters below the ground and was constructed using Shield tunneling method (rotating cutter head on a cylindrical shield machine cuts a tunnel, and concrete segments are put on the inner tunnel). To receive the wastewater flow from the inlet pipe and convey to treatment plant, the pumps of vertical shaft volute type was adopted for design. Description of Actual Services Provided by TEC Experts: According to the project requirement, the Design Team made detail design calculation and drawings for construction works. In the implementation phase of the project, the staff carried out quality design of following items especially in terms of construction workability and efficient and sustainable operation and maintenance.
