Chinese Premier visits elderly scientists, praises their remarkable contributions 09:20, August 08, 2010 Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao (C) visits nuclear physicist Zhu Guangya (L) in Beijing, capital of China, Aug. 7, 2010. Wen visited four renowned elderly scientists, and expressed his sincere gratitude to them for their enormous contributions to developing the country's science programs Saturday. Among the scientists visited were 96-year-old nuclear physicist He Zehui, wife of the late nuclear scientist Qian Sanqiang, the "Father of China's Atomic Bomb", 91-year-old mathematician Wu Wenjun, 86-year-old nuclear physicist Zhu Guangya, and 95- year-old optical physicist Wang Daheng. (Xinhua/Rao Aimin) Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao Saturday visited four renowned elderly scientists, and expressed his sincere gratitude to them for their enormous contributions to developing the country's science programs.
