Out of 3 food samples & one water sample KL/THI/2017/13/0419 Kerala 209 00 01-04-17 04-04-17 m Poisoning Control tested at Analytical Lab Trivandrum, Fish curry sample found contaminated with pathogenic microorganism E coli and Staphylococcus aureus. Health camp organized and all cases treated symptomatically. Health education given. Cases reported from Village/PHC Thondernad & Kanhirangad, HSC Korome, Block Manathavady. District RRT investigated the outbreak. House to house survey done. Out of 10 Blood samples, 3 Under KL/WYN/2017/13/0420 Kerala Wayanad Hepatitis A 23 00 30-03-17 30-3-17 found positive for Hepatitis A IgM and out of 3 Control water samples tested, one found non potable at Manipal Wayanad Lab. All cases treated symptomatically. Chlorination done. Health education given. Cases reported from Ward no.1 Trilokpuri Colony, Madhya Under SHC/PHC/Block Ashoknagar. District RRT MP/ASH/2017/13/0421 Ashok Nagar Chickenpox 19 00 29-03-17 30-03-17 investigated the outbreak. House to house survey Pradesh Control done. All cases treated symptomatically. Meal contained Shira, Poisoning Control sabzi and masala bhath. 3Food samples collected and sent to NIV Pune; Result awaited. Health camp organized and all cases treated symptomatically. All 03 Under Stool samples tested at Govt. Medical College, PB/GPR/2017/13/0426 Punjab Gurdaspur Diarrheal 57 00 01-04-17 02-04-17 Control Amritsar, found negative for enteric pathogens.10 Disease Water samples collected and sent to SPHL Lab, Sec 11, Chandigarh, result awaited. All cases treated symptomatically. Health education given. Cases reported from Christian College of Nursing Girls Hostel, Ambilikai, HSC Ambilikai, PHC K. Keeranur, Block Oddachatram.
