Dace. 56, has been appointed su­ perintendent of the New Mexico District. The appointment was made by General Su­ perintendent John A. Knight with unani­ mous approval of the Board of General Su­ perintendents and in consultation with the New Mexico District Advisory Committee. Dace accepted the call, which became effec­ tive June 19, 1989. He replaced Leon Wyss, who resigned the post to become superinten­ dent of the Colorado District in May.
