Shanklin CC Martin Bodenham is a former FIFA and Premier League Football Officiating Referee who’s career spanned many years and culminated in Janice Routledge (Shanklin CC) appointments such as the 1997 League Cup Final between Leicester City and Middlesbrough. Retirement came a year later in1998 and in Young Volunteer 2001 he became the first ever head of refereeing for the county of Chloe Routledge (Shanklin CC) Sussex. He was also a Premier League match observer, referees assessor and a UEFA delegate. After retiring from the whistle Martin concentrated on becoming a Raffle Winner senior cricket umpire and after eight years of hard dedicated work he was added to the ECB reserve list in 2006 standing at the wicket for England Sign Bat – Mike Vimpany England A versus Sri Lanka at Worcester in May of that year.
