Keep in mind that whenever possible, scheduling in advance will more likely ensure a better room rate. Receiving a discounted room rate is contingent on hotel availability and one should be mindful of local events that might pose difficulty reserving a room at late notice. The most common times that discounts are not available are the second week of June (NCAA Track & Field, followed by UO Graduation) and in the fall, home Duck football games.
