Budget commitments by region Bankstown • $1.7 billion invested this year for preconstruction activities and to begin early works of Stage 2 of Sydney Metro (Sydney Metro City and Southwest) which will link Chatswood with Bankstown and include a second harbour rail crossing • Major school upgrade in Bankstown • Yagoona Public School upgrade - new permanent teaching spaces Blacktown • $104.1 million in 2017-18 to continue the redevelopment of Blacktown and Mount Druitt Hospitals, with an estimated total cost of $659.0 million • St Clair Innovation Centre rebuild and upgrade • New fire station at Marsden Park - $5M • Continued works on the new Mount Druitt Fire and Rescue Station (total cost of $3.1 million) and the new police station at Mount Druitt (total cost of $25.0 million) • Stage 2 of the Schofields Road upgrade • $740,000 in 2017-18 to deliver the Youth on Track program in Blacktown, Mount Druitt and Quakers Hill. • $10 million to create new infrastructure for business hubs at Horsley Drive, Eastern Creek and Bringelly Road • Alex Avenue (Schofields) new primary school for up to 1000 students • High School Upgrade in the Seven Hills area to address enrolment growth • Riverbank Public School upgrade - new permanent teaching spaces • Riverstone High School upgrade - new permanent teaching spaces and upgrade core facilities • Schofields Public School upgrade - additional permanent teaching spaces Camden • $648 million for Western Sydney Infrastructure Plan (WSA roads) including: • completion of the first stage of The Northern Road between Camden Valley Way and Peter Brock Drive • and the first stage of Bringelly Road between Camden Valley Way and King Street, with construction continuing on the remainder of Bringelly Road • as well as further sections of The Northern Road between Narellan and Penrith • $40 million to plan the M9 Outer Orbital and the M12 freeway linking the M7 to Western Sydney Airport. • New fire station at Oran Park - $4.9M • Leppington New Primary School • Harrington Park Public School upgrade - new permanent teaching spaces and upgrade core facilities to address enrolment growth • Oran Park High School (previously announced) - A new high school for up to 2000 students • Oran Park Public School upgrade (previously announced) - new permanent teaching spaces and upgrade core facilities to address enrolment growth • Narellan School (underway)- a new school Campbelltown • Campbelltown Hospital upgrade: $632m for upgraded emergency, paediatric and mental health facilities at Campbelltown Hospital, more than doubling a 2015 election commitment of $300m for this project. Funding also provided to upgrade the Campbelltown Hospital carpark. • $153 million for road upgrades to support population and economic growth in Western Sydney, including completing: the Narellan Road upgrade and commencing construction of the first stage of the Campbelltown Road • $26.9 million to widen Narellan Road to six lanes from Camden Valley Way to Denham Court Road • $40 million to plan the M9 Outer Orbital and the M12 freeway linking the M7 to Western Sydney Airport. • $17.5 million towards the stage one upgrade of Campbelltown Road from Camden Valley Way to Denham Court Road • $4.5 million to widen Appin Road with intersection upgrades at Menangle Park • Gledswood Hills new primary school (previously announced) - A new primary school for up to 1000 students • Ingleburn High School upgrade - new permanent teaching spaces and upgrade core facilities to address enrolment growth • Ajuga School, Campbell House School and Glenfield Park School upgrades (underway) - Upgrade and expansion of facilities for the delivery of future focused learning programs. • Bardia Public School upgrade (underway) - new permanent teaching spaces Cumberland • Auburn North Public School upgrade (previously announced) - new permanent teaching spaces and upgrade core facilities to address enrolment growth • Greystanes Public School upgrade - new permanent teaching spaces and upgrade core facilities to address enrolment growth • Lidcombe Public School upgrade (previously announced) - new permanent teaching spaces and upgrade core facilities to address enrolment growth • Merrylands Public School upgrade - new permanent teaching spaces and upgrade core facilities to address enrolment growth • Pendle Hill Public School upgrade - new permanent teaching spaces and upgrade core facilities to address enrolment growth • Wentworthville Public School upgrade - new permanent teaching spaces and upgrade core facilities to address enrolment growth Fairfield • Canley Vale High School upgrade - new permanent teaching spaces and upgrade core facilities to address enrolment growth • Fairvale High School upgrade (Fairfield) - new permanent teaching spaces and upgrade core facilities to address enrolment growth. It will also replace the bini dome with a new gym • Westfield Sports High School upgrade - new permanent teaching spaces and upgrade core facilities to address enrolment growth • William Stimson Public School upgrade (previously announced) - new permanent teaching spaces and upgrade core facilities to address enrolment growth Hawkesbury • $43.9 million for the Schofields Road upgrade (from Tallawong Road to Vernon Road, and Vernon Road to Richmond Road, via South Street) • $11.1 million for traffic improvements at Riverstone • Hurlstone Agricultural High School — Stage 2 - new permanent teaching spaces to address enrolment growth • Richmond High School upgrade - Remove the Bini Dome and provide the school with a new multipurpose gymnasium facility • Hurlstone Agricultural High School (underway) - New school The Hills • $1.1 billion on Stage 1 of Sydney Metro (Sydney Metro North West) in 2017-18 • $16.0 million for Memorial Avenue from Old Windsor Road to Windsor Road • Funding for planning for future major capital works at Rouse Hill Hospital • Bella Vista Public School — Stage 2: Stage 2 of new school to expand capacity to accommodate growth • Excelsior Public School upgrade - new permanent teaching spaces and upgrade core facilities to address enrolment growth • North Kellyville new primary school (previously announced): A new primary school for up to 1000 students • Samuel Gilbert Public School upgrade - new permanent teaching spaces and upgrade core facilities to address enrolment growth • Bella Vista Public School (new school) (underway): New school Liverpool • $648 million for Western Sydney Infrastructure Plan (WSA roads) including Elizabeth Drive and Bringelly Road • $40 million to plan the M9 Outer Orbital and the M12 freeway linking the M7 to Western Sydney Airport. • Funding for planning for future major capital works at Liverpool Hospital • Cecil Hills Public School upgrade (previously announced): Upgrade to address student growth through the provision of 15 new permanent classrooms and upgrade the core facilities to accommodate over 900 students • Liverpool West Public School upgrade - new permanent teaching spaces • Mainsbridge School relocation and upgrade: Relocation of Mainsbridge SSP to Warwick Farm Public School to provide additional new permanent teaching spaces and new core facilities to address growth • Marsden Road Public School upgrade - new permanent teaching spaces and upgrade core facilities to address enrolment growth • New school in the Liverpool area • Prestons Public School upgrade (previously announced) - new permanent teaching spaces and upgrade core facilities to address enrolment growth Parramatta • Up to $30 million to partner with the City of Parramatta to construct a new aquatic centre • $160 million for new Western Sydney Stadium at Parramatta • $25 million for planning and early works for Parramatta Light Rail • $10 million for new growth ferries for Parramatta River services • $123 million to implement the Parramatta Road Urban Amenity Improvement Program. • Continuing works on the redevelopment of Westmead Hospital (Stage 1) and the Westmead Hospital car park • $5 million in 2017-18 to commence redevelopment of the Sydney Children’s Hospital Westmead, at an estimated total cost of $95.0 million • Carlingford Public School upgrade - new permanent teaching spaces and upgrade core facilities to address enrolment growth • North Rocks Public School upgrade - new permanent teaching spaces and upgrade core facilities to address enrolment growth • Parramatta West Public School upgrade - new permanent teaching spaces and upgrade core facilities to address enrolment growth • Rosehill Public School upgrade (previously announced) - new permanent teaching spaces and upgrade core facilities to address enrolment growth • Arthur Phillip High School and Parramatta Public School (new schools) (underway): New school • O’Connell Street Public School (underway): New school • Rowland Hassall School relocation new school (underway) Penrith • Nepean Hospital upgrade (previously announced): $550m • $13.4 million towards planning for the upgrade of Jane Street and Mulgoa Road • $34.0 million in 2017-18 for redevelopment of Nepean Hospital and Integrated Ambulatory Services, at an estimated total cost of $550.0 million • Funding for the Resolve mental health social impact investment, including a support centre in Penrith • $5 million in 2017-18 towards training equipment at the new fire and rescue training academy at Erskine Park • Claremont Meadows Public School upgrade - new permanent teaching spaces and upgrade core facilities to address enrolment growth • Jordan Springs new primary school (previously announced): New primary school in Londonderry
