Carbon deposits can harden on intake valves, piston heads, cylinder walls and injectors. Carbon deposits left untreated in your engine are potentially a serious problem, leading to reduced engine performance, increased fuel consumption, rough idling and engine knocking, pinging or run-on. CRC TOP ENGINE CLEANER cleans and lubricates internal engine systems for improved engine performance, solves many rough-idle problems and increases MPG, restores power and reduces emissions. Spray into Throttle Body • Ensure vehicle is well ventilated. Exhaust will be extreme as internal motor is being cleaned. Do not treat vehicle in enclosed garage. • With vehicle in park, run engine until normal operating temperature is reached. Idle engine. • Locate throttle body and insert extension tube about 2 inches past the throttle plate. • Increase engine idle to about 2,000 RPM and spray CRC Top Engine Cleaner directly into the Throttle Body until entire can is dispensed (about 2 to 3 minutes). • Turn engine off and allow to heat-soak for 15-20 minutes. • Restart engine and drive until white smoke is gone. • For optimum results, changing the oil and oil filter after running a top end cleaner through your engine is recommended. To prevent future carbon build-up and improve engine efficiency, use CRC Top Engine Cleaner every 5,000 miles.
