CellarTracker Quick-Guide Now that your inventory is complete and loaded into your account, we are pleased to present this quick reference guide for CellarTracker, the most comprehensive wine cellar technology tool for cataloguing and inventorying your collection. Contact us anytime with wine questions. We are excited for you ~ enjoy your collection! LOG IN. Go to CellarTracker.com and login. Click My Cellar tab on far right side of primary toolbar to view a complete alphabetical list of your wine collection; (Fig. A, below.) ADDING A NEW WINE TO YOUR CELLAR. Follow these steps: 1. From any page, click on the Quick Links drop-down menu beneath search box (Fig. B,) and click Add Wine to My Cellar. 2. Enter wine, with or without vintage, being as specific as possible. Full words are not necessary, e.g. “scream eagle cab” suffices for Screaming Eagle Cabernet. 3. Select desired vintage(s) from the list. Note that many distinct vineyard sites and designations exist for similar wines. 4. Type desired number of bottles to add to account; (see arrow in Fig. C.) 5. Repeat steps 2-4 for additional wines. Each unique wine and vintage selected will populate on the right sidebar. 6. Click on the maroon Continue to Step 3 button. 7. Select either In My Cellar or Pending at top of page. Fill in text boxes with size, cellar location & bin, purchase data when possible & bottle note (See Fig. D.) NOTE: PENDING DELIVERIES ALLOW YOU TO KEEP TRACK OF FUTURES AND OTHER OUTSTANDING ORDERS OWED FROM YOUR VENDORS. 8. Click the maroon Save and Done button. (Fig. C) (Fig. D) DISPLAYS. Hide or display your Side Panel (tan secondary toolbar on right of screen, present when specific wine is highlighted in list view.) Click “Hide Side Panel” to display the same wine information in an expanded view. Default display settings with and without the side panel can be adjusted in Display Settings under Edit Profile. (Fig. E) DomaineStorage.com | 888.627.4556 CellarTracker Quick-Guide PRINTING BARCODE LABELS. NOTE: PRINT QUEUE AUTO-POPULATES WITH ANY NEW WINE ADDED TO THE ACCOUNT 1. Click Print Lists and Labels in Quick Links drop-down menu just below the Search tab. 2. Select Barcode Labels tab at top of the new window. (see Fig. F) 3. In the Label Preview pop-up window, click Customize in Label View. This will populate the entire print list in single barcode view. Sort using the categories at the top of the list. For ease of label application, ALWAYS sort and print in BIN ORDER. Narrow Results drop down lets you select cellar locations and printing parameters. 4. Click the top box to select all wines on the list and then click Print Barcode Labels button. 5. Review Printer and Label Format Options. (Custom CellarTracker labels are DYMO Label Writer 450 template.) (Fig. F) (Fig. G) DRINKING WINE FROM YOUR CELLAR: There are two ways to drink wine out of your collection- manually, without barcode or by scanning bottles with barcodes 1. Manually without Barcodes: Click on Drink or Remove in the Quick Links drop-down menu. Search for wine in Wine Lookup box and select appropriate wine and vintage/s; each unique wine and vintage selected populates on the right sidebar. Click Continue to Step 3. For each wine, check the individual bottle/s that correspond to the location and bin from which they were removed. Click Save and Done. 2. Scanning with Barcodes: Click Scan Barcode Labels in Quick Links drop-down menu. If using an iPad, place curser in the barcode entry box. Scan as many barcodes as you want (NOTE: MAKE SURE THE WINE LOADS AFTER EACH SCAN.) Click the Drink or Remove button, select consumption type and add optional public/private tasting note, then click Save and Done; (see Fig. G). NOTE: YOU CAN ALSO RELOCATE BOTTLES IN THE BULK SCAN PAGE USING THE RELOCATE BUTTON. NAVIGATION BAR OPTIONS (maroon bar across the top of every page, Fig. A.) The grey speech balloon indicates currently loaded page, Home in Fig. A) o HOME-summary page, showing common tasks, reports, reviews and stats about CellarTracker o WINES-reporting page listing possible sort functions as well as popular wine reviews o PEOPLE- allows you to customize your CellarTracker community of ‘friend’ accounts to share reviews and inventory holdings o DISCUSSIONS- CellarTracker’s user forum o ARTICLES- collection of web articles on the wine industry and trends in the market o MY WISH LIST- browse able, personally-generated lists of wines you’d like to find o MY TASTING NOTES- list of all wine reviews and comments written by you or other users- sortable by grey drop-down box at top of screen o MY CELLAR- complete alphabetical list of your wine collection.
