Music, stories, and of course, the Shofar! Date/Time: September 17 (1st day Rosh Hashanah), September 18 (Rosh Hashanah 2nd day), September 26 (Yom Kippur). All Young Family High Holiday services begin at 8:45 am. Beth Emet Synagogue 1224 Dempster, Evanston Beth Emet’s Young Children’s High Holiday Services are geared towards families with children through preschool age. Services are held in the Sanctuary and are open to the community. Young Children’s Services include a lot of singing, Beth Emet’s own junior shofar blowers, and a story. On Rosh Hashanah afternoon, join us for Popsicles On The Playground after services. Date/Time: September 17 (Rosh Hashanah) and September 26 (Yom Kippur). Services begin at 2:30 pm. Emanuel Congregation 5959 N Sheridan Road, Chicago Emanuel Congregation’s Family High Holiday services will take place on Rosh Hashanah (September 17) and Yom Kippur (September 26). North Suburban Synagogue Beth El 1175 Sheridan Road, Highland Park NSS Beth El is pleased to offer Children's High Holiday Services. All services are for members only. Teen Minyan Tashlich - Join our teens as they lead the entire congregation in the tradition of symbolically casting away our sins by throwing bread into the lake. On Monday, September 17 at 6:00 pm (the first day of Rosh Hashanah), Beth El teens from our USY chapter will lead us in a short meaningful ceremony in the synagogue backyard before Mincha/Maariv services. Families of all ages are invited to join in this meaningful and enjoyable experience. Oak Park Temple B’nai Abraham Zion 1235 North Harlem Avenue Oak Park Please join Oak Park Temple for High Holiday Tot Services. These services are geared toward families with preschool aged children. Services will last approximately 40 minutes. Tickets are not required.
