Marshall Baseball Table of Contents 1 2010 Thundering Herd Media Guide Marshall Baseball Power Park was the sight for Marshall’s first C-USA baseball game during the team’s in- augural season in the league in 2005 Appalachian Power Park is the home of the West Virginia Power, the Class A affiliate of the Pittsburgh Pirates. On April 14, 2005, Appalachian Power Park opened its gates to Power fans for the first tiem and helped the squad establish a West Virginia baseball attendance record of 233,143 fans.
