The Carpet car is especially popular! If you use the Japan Rail Pass, you can take this train from Sapporo and transfer at Aomori to a limited express train, and then to a Shinkansen for Tokyo without surcharges. Direction to the New Chitose Airport Station from the International Terminal: After arriving at the New Chitose Airport International Terminal, it is convenient to use the railway for travel to Sapporo. “Rapid Airport” is operated between the New Chitose Airport and Sapporo Station every 15 minutes, and its journey time is 36 minutes (minimum).
