Scope and Content The Fascist Italy collection comprises books, pamphlets, postcards, sheet music, posters and various propaganda materials from the early to mid 20th century in Italy, known as the Kingdom of Italy when it was ruled by the National Fascist Party under Benito Mussolini from 1922 to 1943. The Fascist Italy collection is unique in its scope and content and offers valuable insight into the methods of propaganda distribution in Italy during this era, as well as the views and values upheld by a fascist government over its people.
