Organisation and activities B.1 Structure Profit Non-profit X Public X Private Organisation type Secondary and high school Number of pupils 825 B.2 Objectives and activities of the organisation Please provide a short presentation of the organisation in relation to the thematic area covered by the project In IES Puçol, we teach Secondary Education, Bachillerato (A Level), and Higher Level Nursery Education Training. The school has 71 teachers and 825 students. The students are 12 to 16 years old for Secondary, from 16 to 18 years old for Bachillerato, and 18 years old and above for the Nursery Training. We are taking part in the multilingual programme, as we want to promote the learning of foreign languages here at IES Puçol. This programme includes annual study trips to the UK and student exchanges with schools in France. The school has classrooms equiped with computers that have access to the internet, projectors, a language lab, and three different information technology classrooms. We also have a computer lab for specific computer assisted lessons. On the website (www.iespuzol.es) there is a Moodle platform which displays the content and activities of different subjects. In the few years, video-assisted teaching has been introduced in the subjects, “Laboratory Techniques” and “Applied Physics.” Please describe the role of your organisation in the project IES Puçol will participate through two projects: - In music, videos created using stop-motion technique. - “Video assisted training in Physics and Chemistry,” in which videos of certain experiments will be recorded and edited in first and second year Bachillerato classes, as well as popular science videos. These videos will take into account the objectives of the School Multilingual Program, so will be subtitled in English as a base objective.
