
BIO DATA REAR ADMIRAL ABDUL ALEEM HI(M) Rear Admiral Abdul Aleem HI(M) was Commissioned in Pakistan Navy on 31st May 1984. He specializes in communications and has undergone advance telecommunications training from France. He is a graduate of PN War College, US Naval War College and National Defence University Islamabad. He holds BSc (Hons) degrees in Naval Sciences and War Studies; both from Karachi University and MS in Strategic Studies from NDU. The officer has vast sea experience which includes performing almost all the important assignments pertaining to various specializations of Operations branch onboard Submarine Chasers, Fast Patrol Boats, Missile Boats, Destroyers and Cruiser. His Command assignments include Command of historical FPB PNS RAJSHAHI, a Hydrofoil Division, a Missile Corvette, Guided Missile Destroyer PNS SHAHJAHAN and Commander 25th Destroyer Squadron. He also has the honour of Commanding International Counter Piracy Task Force 151. His Staff assignments include Staff Officer Signals at Naval Headquarters and Staff Officer (Operations) to Commander Karachi, Principal Secretary to the Chief of the Naval Staff and Chief Inspector (Navy). His other assignments include the duties as instructor at PN Communication School & Electronic Warfare and Training Center, OIIC PN Telecommunications (South), Deputy Commandant & CI PN War College and Commandant Pakistan Navy Maritime Operations Training Complex-PNS BAHADUR. As Flag Officer, Rear Admiral Abdul Aleem HI(M) has performed the duties as DCNS (Projects) at Naval Headquarters, Commandant Pakistan Navy War College Lahore and Flag Officer Sea Training (FOST). The flag officer is now performing the duties as Commander Coast w.e.f 20 Mar 17. Rear Admiral Abdul Aleem has been awarded with Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Military) and Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military). He is living a happily married life and is blessed with one daughter and two sons. .
