June 1996 - Co-Director of the Ludlow project. An archaeological project investigating the 1913-1914 June 2005 Colorado Coal Strike and the Ludlow massacre. September 1994 - Director of the Cerro de Trincheras Excavation Project. May 2003 Two seasons of intensive excavation at the site of Cerro de Trincheras, Sonora, México. 1983 - present Research Associate, Fernand Braudel Center, SUNY, Binghamton. October 1991 - Director of the Cerro de Trincheras mapping project. Directed two months of mapping and test December 1991 excavations at the site of Cerro de Trincheras, Sonora, Mexico. Crew included 3 US and 2 Mexican students. December 1987 - Director of the Altar Valley Survey Project. Directed 4 months of survey in the Altar Valley of May 1988 Sonora, Mexico. Survey crew included 4 Mexican and 5 U.S. students. We recorded 98 sites. 1982 - 1987 Director of the Binghamton gravestone project. Directed long term research project studying the relationship between mortuary art ideology, gender, race and class. Information on over 2,000 stones collected, over 18 students involved. 1985 - 1986 Consultant for the Arizona State University Marana Project. Randall H. Responsible for statistical analysis of data from Dr. William Rathje's Project du Garbage. 1979 - 1981 GS-9 Archaeologist with the Bureau of Land Management. Prepared with Dr. Michael B. Schiffer an archaeological overview of Southwestern Arizona. January 1980 - Research Associate, Department of Geosciences, University of Arizona. Worked with July 1981 Dr. Robert Butler and Robert Sternberg on testing and refinement of archaeomagnetic dating. 1979 Archaeologist (part-time), Arizona State Museum. Responsible for conducting small surveys and preparing appropriate reports and clearance letters. Developed research design, supervised excavation, did analysis and prepared final report. 1975 - 1976 Field Supervisor, Arizona State Museum, Hohokam Freeway Project. Excavated portions of prehistoric Hohokam canals. Supervised seven workers in the field and a backhoe. Analyzed & prepared reports on the Central Heights site, a small Salado pueblo near Globe, Arizona; and a historic ranch house just south of Tucson, Arizona.
