CPBFI IMPACT REPORT 2020-21 Page 04 CPBFI transforms lives Dr Amit Yalgi believes, “CPBFI not only trains the students to be banking professionals but also transforms their lives as a whole.” That’s why he says "he lives and breathes CPBFI". Dr Yalgi enjoys the training as it has given him hope that the next generation can live their dreams if they have the right knowledge and skills. What endears CPBFI to him is its vision. It allows youth from the remotest corners of the country to aspire for much more than what they otherwise would have. Being able to help students from Dr Amit Yalgi, challenging situations to climb the ladder of success is the biggest reward, he says. There are so many empanelled with CIEL, success stories that CPBFI should have a ‘wall of fame’. Lesson from 40 years Mr Trevor Fernandes, who has been training students of CPBFI during the last two years, through the pandemic, has always advised his students to ‘stay focused’. The veteran trainer with over 40 years of banking under his belt, had to face a big disruption in the way he trained because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
