If the tournament is won by an NCAA tournament- Alabama A&M eligible team, that team gets the AQ. If the tournament is Donnie Marsh - Record at AAMU 2-23 (1st year) / Overall 33-106 (5th year) won by a team ineligible for NCAA postseason, the team (among those eligible for the NCAA tournament) that Alabama State advances the furthest in the SWAC tournament will be the league’s AQ.
