Rabbit Anti-Human HIST1H3C (Acetyl-Lys23) polyclonal antibody (CABT-L3647) This product is for research use only and is not intended for diagnostic use. PRODUCT INFORMATION Product Overview Rabbit Anti-Human AurB/C (Phospho-Thr236/202) polyclonal antibody. This antibody detects endogenous levels of total Histone H3 protein only when acetylated at Lys23. Specificity Target Modification: Acetyl. Modification Sites: Human: K23; Mouse: K23; Rat: K23 Target Human Histone H3 (Acetyl-Lys23) Immunogen The antiserum was produced against synthesized peptide derived from human Histone H3 around the acetylated site of Lys23. Immunogen range: 16-65 Isotype IgG Source/Host Rabbit Species Reactivity Human, Mouse, Rat Purification Affinity Purified Conjugate Unconjugated Applications WB, IF, ELISA Molecular Weight 15 kDa Preparation The antibody was purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using acetylated peptide. The antibody against non-acetylated peptide was removed by chromatography using corresponding non-acetylated peptide. Format Liquid Concentration Lot specific Buffer Rabbit IgG in PBS (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150mM NaCl and 50% glycerol. Two molecules of each of the four core histones (H2A, H2B, H3, and H4) form an octamer, around which approximately 146 bp of DNA is wrapped in repeating units, called nucleosomes. The linker histone, H1, interacts with linker DNA between nucleosomes and functions in the compaction of chromatin into higher order structures. This gene is intronless and encodes a member of the histone H3 family. Transcripts from this gene lack polyA tails but instead contain a palindromic termination element. This gene is found in the large histone gene cluster on chromosome 6.
