Near the midway mark of the period, the Oil Kings took over, scoring to tie the game and taking the lead 4 minutes later. They added insurance with 5 minutes to go in regula- tion and hung on for the victory. 20-year-old goaltender Cole Cheveldave stopped 29 of 23 shots in a losing cause. VS OIL KINGS: The Raiders went 2-2-0-0 against the Oil Kings in the regular season, with both wins coming in Edmonton. 18-year-old centre Leon Draisaitl had 2 goals and 5 assists in the regular season series while 19-year-old winger Dakota Conroy scored 3 times and added 3 help- ers. RARE ROOKIE: Nick McBride is the first 16-year-old to play between the pipes for a full season since Aaron Sorochan guarded the blue paint for the Raiders in 2000-2001.
