In an effort to continue to provide a professional working environment, the following guidelines have been established for the upcoming season. CREDENTIALS Access to Arizona Rattlers football games for accredited working media will require proper credentials. All credentials are non-transferable, and any unauthorized use will subject bearer to ejection from Gila River Arena and confiscation of the credential. Season credentials will be issued to recognized newspapers, magazines, television and established radio stations making reasonable requests on company letterhead. Please indicate those persons who will be using each credential. Season and single-game credentials will be issued only to those who make requests on company letterhead. These requests can be sent by email to [email protected] and must be requested by Wednesday prior to the game. Pre-arranged credentials may be picked up at the media will-call at the northeast press entrance two hours before game time. No credentials will be mailed. Media must wear credentials in plain view at all times within the arena. Working media with credentials will have access to the press room at designated times, as well as an assigned seat. Your cooperation is required to maintain a professional working atmosphere. PHOTOGRAPHERS Photo credentials will be issued in the same manner as other credentials. Field access will be available to photographers from media outlets that have received credentials from the Rattlers media office. All photographers must comply with space assignments and shooting regulations. Photographers must shoot from designated areas only. Shooting areas are limited. PARKING Members of the media who are covering the Rattlers game will be able to park in the media garage. The garage entrance is located south of the building on the corner of First Street and Jackson. All media that contact media relations will be on a list to receive access into the garage. These requests should be made at the same time as credential requests. PRESS ENTRANCE The press entrance is located at Gate 1, which is the South-East corner of the Arena. Media members with proper Rattlers credentials will be admitted through this entrance. If a media representative requested credentials for a single game, they also can be picked up at this location. The press entrance will open 90 minutes before game time. Credentials will not be recognized at other arena entrances. PRESS ROOM The Rattlers media work room can be accessed through the press entrance and by taking the elevator down to the event level. The media work room, equipped with telephones, electrical outlets and press materials, will be open90 minutes before kick-off, during halftime intermission and for post-game work. GAME-NIGHT SERVICES Statistics will be furnished, including pre-game notes, halftime and final stats. All information will be available in the media work room. Fax service also will be available. RADIO AND TELEVISION Electronic media representing the visiting team must contact the Rattlers media relations office to ensure broadcast locations and lines. Three business telephones for visiting radio will be furnished by the Rattlers, but specific broadcast loops will have to be ordered by the station. Statisticians and spotters are available to assist radio and television broadcasts by contacting Media Relations. PRACTICES All Rattlers practices are open to the media. The Pavilion has been significantly opened up, allowing guests to see straight through into the bowl with sights of the new center hung scoreboard. Anchoring the reimagined Pavilion is Arizona’s largest sports bar, which stretches 60 feet long and is surrounded by more than 7,000 square feet of high-resolution LED video walls that will feature dynamic content for game days, concerts and events. The curved LED walls feature more than 40.8 million LEDs + Two new Corner Bars will be marquee destinations for all arena guests to enjoy on the northeast and northwest corners of the lower concourse. + New Daktronics center hung scoreboard is six times larger than predecessor, stretching 3,100 square feet and the resolution is six times clearer. Measures 26 feet tall by 36 feet wide and weights more than 50,000 pounds. New center hung features 8.1 million LEDs and roughly the size of nearly 300 60-inch televisions. + Two new LED ribbon boards, which stretch more than 1,900 feet in total ring the upper and lower bowls, replacing the static signage and previous single ribbon. + In partnership with Verizon, Phoenix Suns Arena now features new 5G Ultra Wideband Service for the entire venue – one of the few professional sports facilities in the country with Verizon 5G + Arena system features new musco lighting system which will provide “theater lighting” for game days.
