Purpose of the EOI File No. KTD/TP-III/31/129/III/ EOI Infra. Mtce./13-14 Seal & Signature of Bidder 6 2.1. BSNL (from hereon BSNL means SSA Head or Competent Authority floating the EOI) intends to invite Expression of Interest (EOI) from interested parties for maintenance and upkeep of parts of its telecom infrastructure. After evaluation of EOIs, agreements will be entered with the successful bidders for a period of one year, which can be extended for a further period of maximum 3 months or more depending upon office exigencies & at the discretion of GMT Kolhapur and on same tender terms and conditions. 3. General requirement 3.1. BSNL intends to contract infrastructure maintenance services (As per Sectrion-VI) at selected telecom sites in each SSA/SDCA unit. These may be required for different timeframes at different installations as per requirement (Section-VII). Contractors need to bid for the provision of services at ALL sites in a unit. 4. Eligibility Requirements 4.1. The contractor must have successfully completed One work of similar nature (infrastructure maintenance OR upkeep of telecom installations) in BSNL/ DOT/ MTNL costing an amount not less than estimated cost put to the tender i.e. Rs. 86Lac [for one year period] during the last three financial years i.e. 2010-2013 (01.04.2010 to 31.03.2013). Experience certificate indicate nature of work performed for one year period should be enclosed along with EOI document in Technical bid envelope. Experience certificate issuing authority should not be below the rank of JAG level officer. 4.2. List of Documents for eligibility requirement is mentioned in Para 14 of this document. 5. Financial Requirement 5.1. Performance Bank Guarantee [Security Deposit] will be 10 % of the total cost of the work is to be deposited by the technically and commercially eligible contractor before signing of the agreement. 5.2. Contractor shall submit the aforesaid Performance Bank Guarantee from any Nationalised/Schedule Bank for a period of 18 Months from the date of issue, for the said amount or as BSNL may recommend from time to time.
