County Council support the name change of the Peterborough County-City Health Unit to “Peterborough County-City Public Health”. 2. Peterborough County/City Paramedics Re: County Fire Services Medical Tiered Response Agreement Be it resolved that County Council directs the Warden and Clerk to execute the Fire Based Medical Tiered Response Agreement between the County of Peterborough and the Townships of Asphodel-Norwood, Cavan Monaghan, Douro-Dummer, Havelock- Belmont-Methuen, North Kawartha, Otonabee-South Monaghan, Selwyn, and the Municipality of Trent Lakes. Public Works - Engineering & Design Re: Speed Limit - County Road (CR) 25, from CR 18 to Provincial Highway 28 (study length of 8.9 km) Be it resolved that Council directs staff to implement the following speed limits on CR 25, as follows: 1. 80 km/hr, from CR 18 to approximately 235 metres east of Preston Road. 2. 60 km/hr, 235 metres east of Preston Road to 735 metres east of Preston Road. 3. 50 km/hr, 735 metres east of Preston Road to Provincial Highway 28; and further; 4. That the Clerk be directed to prepare a By-law to that effect and that the Clerk be directed to notify the Ontario Provincial Police. 5. That this staff report be referred to the Township of Selwyn Police Services Board for consideration for enhanced enforcement by the Ontario Provincial Police and that information regarding the Township of Selwyn’s Road Watch program be supplied to residents and property owners along CR 25.
