Dr. Daniel Fox is a licensed psychologist, author, and international speaker and the founder and director of Applied Psychological Services, PLLC with two locations--Houston, Texas and The Woodlands, Texas. Applied Psychological Services, PLLC provides the following: Intellectual Assessments Personality Assessments Learning Disability Assessments Autism Spectrum Disorder Assessments Neuropsychological Assessments Hearing Impaired Psychological Assessments The practicum will entail administering, scoring, and writing up interpretive reports for client ages 6 and up. The practice emphasizes learning assessment and interacting with interesting clients from all ethnic, racial, sexual orientation, and demographic backgrounds. Compensation is based upon evaluations completed. It is a supportive environment designed to teach and enhance skills to produce assessment reports of high quality. Minimum number of hours students will need to be on site: Required hours for this practicum sites varies upon student schedule, with a minimum of 8-16 hours. Bo's Place is a bereavement center offering multiple grief support services for children and their families who have experienced the death of someone in their family and for adults who have experienced the death of someone significant to them. We require 2 consecutive semesters from a practicum student who can work both daytime and evening hours. The Council offers a multi-disciplinary training experience for graduate student interns and post- graduates seeking further training and licensure hour fulfillment. Our internship requires a one- year commitment from June to May. Most students take an elective to cover the extra semester if needed. Interns have the opportunity to work with clients and family members suffering from the effects of substance abuse, mental health, and behavioral disorders within the child, adolescent, and adult populations.
