A sustainability appraisal (SA) has been carried out to inform the Crofton Park and Honor Oak Neighbourhood Plan (HopCroft Plan). This has incorporated a Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) process as required by the SEA Regulations. Neighbourhood Plan groups use SA to assess Neighbourhood Plans against a set of sustainability objectives developed in consultation with statutory and other interested parties. The purpose of the appraisal is to avoid negative environmental and socio-economic effects through the Neighbourhood Plan, and identify opportunities to improve the environmental quality of the area covered by the Neighbourhood Plan and the quality of life of residents. What is the Crofton Park and Honor Oak Neighbourhood Plan? The HopCroft Plan presents a development plan for the Crofton Park and Honor Oak area in south east London
