He was born in Lynn, Mass., May 22, 1920, the son of Ralph R. and Mildred (Wade) Minott. He graduated from Higgins Classical Institute. He was on Air Force and An'Ay veteran of World War II and flew as a flight bom· badeer, receiving the Distinguished Flying Crass Medal. He worked for New England Telephone Co. for 34 years and was a member of the Tale­ phone Pioneers of America. He be­ longed to the Olive Branch Masonic Lodge No. 124 AF & AM of Charleston, Scottish Rite Bodies and Anah Temple Shrine of Bangor. Pete Is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Dorothy (Dunham) Minott of Ellsworth; two sons, Robert E. Minott of Ellsworth, Edward R. Minott of Wrentham, Mass.; one daughter, Mrs. Samuel (Jane) Nesbitt of Surry: one sister, Mrs. Holly (Mary Ann) Rolfe of Au· bum, N.H.; four grandchildren, Ethan and John Nesbitt, Jenny ond Laura Minott.
