Anjali, Suryapet District has filed a Complaint dated 29-04-2019 which was received by this Commission on 03-05-2019 for not getting the information sought by him from the PIO / The District Revenue Officer O/o. the Collector & Dist. Magistrate, Nalgonda, Nalgonda District. The brief facts of the case as per the Complaint and other records received along with it are that the Complainant herein filed an application dated 19-03-2019 before the PIO under Sec.6(1) of the RTI Act, 2005, requesting to furnish the information on the following points mentioned in his application annexed. TSIC The Public Information Officer has not furnished the information to the Complainant. As the Complainant did not receive the required information from the PIO even after 30 days of filing his application, he preferred this Complaint before the Commission u/s 18(1) of the RTI Act, 2005 requesting to arrange to furnish the information sought by him. The Complaint was taken on file and the case is posted for hearing over phone on 18-06-2020. On overview spread of COVID-19, the case is heard over phone on 18-06-2020. Both the parties are contacted on telephone. The Complainant and the representative of the Public Information Officer are heard. She also submitted that so far the Public Information Officer has not furnished any information. A perusal of case papers on record go to show that the Public Information Officer vide letter No. A5/1546/2019 dated 29-03-2019, furnished the sought information to the complainant. The representative of the Public Information Officer when contacted stated that the information sent to the Commission is incomplete. He however assured the Commission that he would furnish the entire sought information to the complainant within one week. The Commission directs the Public Information Officer to furnish the sought information to the complainant within one week from the date of receipt of this order and to submit compliance report. With the above direction, the complaint is closed.
