Final Program—April 25–26, 2013

Final Program—April 25–26, 2013 Nebraska Educational Technology Association La Vista Embassy Suites & Conference Center Welcome 1 NETA 2013—Ignite Learning Welcome to the Nebraska Educational Technology Association’s annual spring conference. Plans for this 2013 Conference, Ignite Learning, began 12 months ago in an effort to make this year’s conference a memorable experience for everyone. Your two-day conference experience is designed to provide you with ideas and solutions as you Ignite Learning! There are keynote sessions given by nationally acclaimed speakers and a choice of at least 11 breakout-sessions per hour from the over 200 offerings. Playgrounds will be held Thursday from 11:30 a.m.–1:15 p.m. in the Gatsby Room, where you can experience new technologies with the playground leaders, including exploring distance learning opportunities. The Conversation Strand is one where you come and “learn from the group,” not from an individual presenting. Come to the Marriott Library for the Conversation strand. The strength and power of the conference comes from the members who graciously step forward to present, volunteer, submit student contest entries and share their expertise with other educators. Your presence at the 2013 NETA Conference signifies that districts and institutions across the state understand the importance of the collaboration and sharing that takes place not only in the session rooms, but in the hallways and tables that surround the conference.
