Surprise RHP Nate Adcock (KC) took a perfect game to the fifth and finished with one hit over five scoreless innings in Surprise’s three-hit shutout Monday. It was the Saguaros’ third shutout of three or fewer hits. 3. Peoria 2B Scooter Gennett (MIL) doubled twice Monday for his sixth multi-hit game in his last seven games. Gennett has raised his average almost 100 points over the stretch and is just 16 points behind teammate 3B Jedd Gyorko (SD) for the AFL lead. 4. Peoria LHP Tyler Lyons (STL) tossed five innings and allowed one run on four hits to earn his third straight win Monday. Lyons is second in the league with 28 strikeouts in a league-high 29.2 innings. 5. Salt River OF Adam Eaton (ARI) extended his hitting streak to 16 games by going 1-for-5 Monday, matching Scottsdale OF Bryce Harper (WSH) and SS Brandon Crawford (SF) for the longest in the league this season. 2011 Arizona Fall League Tidbits • A total of nine former Fall Leaguers won 2011 Louisville Slugger Silver Slugger Awards.
