Babang conducted an eight (08) day seminar and workshop from May 2-11, 2017 with the theme BADAC Seminar and Workshop on the Revitalized Barangay Drug Clearing Program to the Barangay Anti-Drug Abuse Council (BADAC) members in all 37 barangays in Cotabato City which were attended by three hundred (300) participants. The event was held at (ICITAP), PC Hill, Cotabato City. In partnership with the PNP, DILG, DOH and LGU. Babang delivered a message of support and commitment to the other law enforcement and government agencies during the launching of MASA-MASID at Datu Unsay Municipality. This activity was also attended by DILG, LGU, PNP, AFP, MASA-MASID volunteers, Youth and all Brgy. Chairmen/Chairwomen of Datu Unsay held at Municipal Hall Datu Unsay,Maguindanao. The mentioned activities were in coordination with the DILG Maguindanao for their Advocacy Campaign as well as of this office and the implementation of Brgy. Drug Clearing Operation. Further, AGENT MARLON P SANTOS and AA IV MALOU A CAMIT presented a presentation on Brgy.Drug Clearing Operation and Ill Effects of Dangerous Drugs. On 17 May 2017, INFO OFFICER III JOCELYN A. MARY delivered a message of support and commitment to the other line agencies during the MASA-MASID Orientation Training which was presided by HON. MAYOR ZIHAN MAMALINTA-MANGUNDADATU. The said event was held in Municipal Hall, Barangay Malangit, Pandag, Maguindanao. AAIV MALOU A. CAMIT delivered a presentation on the BARANGAY DRUG CLEARING OPERATIONS and AO1 ESMERALDO G. RUGA conducted lectures on ILL EFFECTS OF DANGEROUS DRUGS. Said activity were participated by the MASA MASID Regional Focal Person DILG- ARMM; MASA MASID REGIONAL Focal Person-DILG- Maguindanao; Provincial Director PNP- Magindanao; Chairmen and Barangay Kagawads of eight (08) Barangays and the volunteers of MASA-MASID Program of the Municipality of Pandag, Province of Maguindanao. In line with, HJA. EMMA SALIK-ALI PSWO, DSWD, Maguindanao discussed on the Sharing of Roles in the Implementation of MASA-MASID Program. Further, the role of the stakeholders in the MASA MASID Program was emphasized to them on the fight against corruption and illegal drugs. Discussed during the said meeting was about the initial plan of orientation for the implementation of DDB Regulation No. 3, s. 2017 on Barangay Drug Clearing Program in all Barangay of Municipality of Parang, Maguindanao through the conduct of proposed orientation/workshop to BADAC chairman and members. On 18 May2017, Director BRYAN B. BABANG together with Info Officer JOCELYN MARY had a meeting with PSI MAKMOD, Chief Of Police of Mother Kabuntalan, Maguindanao at PDEA Regional Office-ARMM. Discussed during the said meeting was about the initial plan for the Implementation of Brgy. Drug Clearing Operation pursuant to DDB Regulation no. 3, s. of 2017 in Mother Kabuntalan.Maguindanao. Diego Guinanas, CO 14th Mechanized company, PA, Municipal Health Officer and nineteen Barangay chairmen of GSKP. Said meeting was held at General Salipada K. Pendatun Municipal Hall. Discussed during the said event was about the strengthening of the Implementation of Brgy. Drug Clearing Operation of the said Municiplaity. O n 25 May2017, MS. MALOU CAMIT had a meeting with HON.MAYOR DATU ABUBAKAR P PAGLAS of Datu Paglas, Maguindanao together with the Brgy.Chairmen of the said municipality. Discussed during the said meeting was about the Illegal Drug Issues like the vulnerability of their municipality in the proliferation of illegal drugs. Also, the porous boundaries of their barangay from nearby town possess greater threat in their localities. Further, MS. CAMIT presented the parameters for declaring “DRUG CLEARED Barangays”. Discussed during the said meeting was about the Peace and Order Situation in the Municipality and Illegal Drug Issues. Governor Esmael G. Mangundadatu. The said event was held in Bed and Breakfast Restaurant, Buluan, Maguindanao. Attended by the Regional Director- PDEA- ARMM; AFP -MGEN; Provincial Director-PNP; Provincial Director DILG Maguindanao;; DSWD; PDRRMO; OCD; MAGELCO; PPDO; IPHO-Maguindanao; Municipal Mayors Province of Maguindanao and other line agencies. In line with, during the Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) cluster meeting, MGEN ARNEL B DELA VEGA of Philippine Army presented an updates on the Peace and Security Situation. On the other hand, PDEA-ARMM Director Bryan B. Babang discussed on Parameters of declaring Drug Cleared Barangay and the Status of Drug Affected and Cleared Barangays on the Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Council (PDAC) cluster meeting. Further, other line agencies presented their respective reports on the peace and order situation on the Province of Maguindanao. Said event was presided by LTCOL. Ruben G. Aquino, Battalion Commander of 6th Infantry (Redskin) Battalion, 6th Infantry (Kampilan) Division, Philippine Army in partnership with the Local Government of Malabang, Balabagan, Kapatagan, Marogong and Picong held at Headquarters 6th Infantry (Redskin) Battalion, Barangay Matling Airport, Malabang , Lanao Del Sur. Said activity were participated by eighty (80) youth leaders. During the event, INFO OFFICER III JOCELYN A MARY delivered a presentation about ILL EFFECTS OF DANGEROUS DRUGS and AAIV MALOU A.
