FURTHER NOTICE THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF MILTON KEYNES (ALL ROADS WITHIN MILTON KEYNES – HIGHWAY MAINTENANCE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2020 FURTHER NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in relation to a temporary prohibition of vehicles from entering, waiting or proceeding along parts of roads within Milton Keynes whilst essential maintenance and repair works are carried out to the carriageway. The restrictions were brought into effect under the provisions of the above-named Order, which was made by the Council of the Borough of Milton Keynes on 10th March 2020 under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as first notified on 5th March 2020. TAKE NOTICE that it is necessary to close the following lengths of road in order for the Council to carry out surfacing works on the carriageway. The roads will then be reopened during the day between 5am and 8pm. The above roads are scheduled to be closed during the periods stated below and only when surfacing works are required and only when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs, which will be erected in advance of any closure. Alternative routes will be provided for each closure and will be clearly signed in accordance with Chapter 8 of the Signs Manual.
