Kentucky, but now dead; after the death of said Button, the Bible passed into the hands of his son, Shouse Roper and was burned when his home was destroyed by fire five or six years ago, and I think that copies of the above list made by me are the only authentic records of the original Roper family in Fulton County, Kentucky, or in Hickman County.
