Even though I miss the vocoder and death growls a lot, this is still perfectly crafted. ...and it fits in line with each release being different. The Indian influence here fits really well (with Paul's philosophies AND his production style)."Box Up My Bones" is one of the most powerful, beautiful songs I've ever heard. (Though "King Of Those Who Know" on their 2nd LP, Traced In Air will always be my favorite, and also possibly the most perfect thing they'll ever do.)and the outro track here, "Hieroglyph" puts me in a very emotional yet peaceful place. It really feels like it's overall underlying message or mood is: things are what they are, always and forever, don't fight it, accept it, it'll be o.k.
