Two short films, also from 1942, will be shown along with the feature. "Kokoda Front Line" is an Australian documentary and "The Blitz Wolf' is an MGM-produced cartoon. The monthly series is designed to provide today's filmgoers with the opportunity to see the highest quality prints of vintage films which earned Academy Award nominations and Oscars. "Mrs. Miniver," starring Greer Garson, Walter Pidgeon, Teresa Wright and Dame May Whitty, received Academy Awards for Best Picture (Sidney Franklin), Best Actress (Garson), Best Supporting Actress (Wright), Best Director (William Wyler), Best Screenplay (George Froeschel, James Hilton, Claudine West and Arthur Wimperis) and Best Cinematography (Joseph Ruttenberg).
