That earned the Red Devils a trip to the “Sweet 16”. School Record Wins -------23, 2014 (23-6) The Red Devils are making their second straight appearance in the tournament, after advancing to -------------------------------21, 2013 (21-8) the Centennial Conference Championship game for the third time in four seaons, winning the title in 2013. School Team Records Set in 2013-14 Senior guard Adam Honig (Chappaqua, N.Y./Horace Geeley) scored a game-high 24 points to Points, Season -------------------------2,188 lead the Red Devils to a school record 23rd win. Honig drained six three-pointers on the night, 3-Pointers Made, Game ----------------- 17 hitting five in the first half. He becomes the all-time career leader, with 201 in his career. Honig 3-Pointers Made, Season ---------------229 ranks second all-time in career scoring with 1,478 points. FreeThrows Made, Season --------------473 Free Throw Percentage, Season ------- .745 He was named the Centennial Conference Player of the Year, earning his fourth All-CC honor, and second straight selection to the First-team. Wins, Season ----------- 23, 2013-14 (23-6) Consecutive Winnings Seasons, - (4), Tied Gerry Wixted (Moorestown, N.J./Camden Catholic) was named First-team All-Centennial for ------------------------ (46-50, 88-92, 10-14) the second straight season as well. Wixted ranks in the top ten in scoring with 1,330 points in his three seasons as a Red Devil. He has already broken school records for career free throws made and blocked shots. Senior co-captain Tucker Landy (Durham, Conn./Xavier) was named to the All-Conference team, and is one of hte Devils’ most versatile players. Averaging 7.4 points and 3.6 rebounds per game, Landy is a timely scorer and solid defensive player who can play anywhere on the floor. Sophomore Brandon Angradi (Milford, Pa./Delaware Valley) had earned 28 starts this season. He is a dangerous threat from long-range, hitting 68 three-pointers on the year. 6’-9” Steve Collins (Rydal, Pa./LaSalle College) is also a threat from beyond the arc, and ranks second on the team in rebounding. Coming off the bench will be junior Chris Cox (Dix Hills, N.Y./Half Hollow Hills West), who can play inside or at the guard position. Tom McInerney (York, Pa./York Suburban) and Ted Hinnenkamp (York, Pa./York Suburban) give the Devils’ depth in the paint and a solid scoring punch while senior Brian Gerney (Muncy, Pa./Hughesville) has given quality minutes at the point guard position. The Red Devils knocked-down 11 three-pointers against Wooster, after draining 10 in Friday’s win over Geneseo. They broke the school record with 229 triples this season. They also set new marks, sinking 473 free throws and scoring 2,188 points to advance to the first “Sweet 16” appearance in program history.
