Specifically: By Commuter Rail: Take the Haverhill Line Commuter Rail from North Station. Trains depart at 8:45 am, 11:30 am, and 2:45 pm (schedule subject to change, contact the MBTA for up-to-date info). Get off at Wakefield station. Walk south on North Avenue (back towards Boston), which is parallel to the tracks. Go 3 short blocks on North Ave., then turn left (east) on Armory Street. Go one long block on Armory Street, then turn right (south) on Main Street. The Americal Civic Center is on the corner of Armory and Main Streets; the entrance is on the far side of the building, facing the parking lot. Buses depart from Malden Center station, East Busway, Berth 2, at 9:00 am, then every 45 minutes until 6:00 pm. Buses also depart from the Oak Grove station busway about 5 to 7 minutes after they leave Malden Center. Get off the bus at Wakefield Square (Water St. & Main St.). Follow North Avenue southeast about 1.1 miles to Wakefield Center, turn left onto Armory Street. Follow Armory Street to Main Street (Route 129), turn right onto Main Street, passing the Americal Civic Center. Follow Main Street South to parking lot entrance. Parking lot is on the south side of the Americal Civic Center, directly adjacent to the building. Going south, take Exit 39 to North Avenue. Turn left at the bottom of the ramp, and go under I-95, towards Wakefield. Follow the instructions given above From Boston, take Route 93 north to Exit 37 A, Route 95 north.
