We remember Jimmy in this issue with an obituary by Tad Hen- Tad Hendrickson drickson and a look at some of his enormous discography. CONTRIBUTING WRITER I was surprised a bit at how much of his music was ingrained into my Tom Mallison head when I reviewed the extent of his material. Jimmy’s Back At The Chick- PHOTOGRAPHY en Shack was one of my early purchases from Blue Note when they came out Barry Solof with those nice vinyl reissues when the label was reborn in the mid ’80s. The tour for Legacy, with Joey and Jimmy, was to include some tour dates with PUBLISHER Jimmy, which will now be tributes to him. The album is a fitting homage and Tony Gasparre a lovely swan song to a true giant.
