NIKANIHK OCHI FOUNDATION INC. SCHOLARSHIP PAYROLL DEDUCTION PLAN Nikanihk Ohci Foundation Inc. administers a number of scholarship and bursary funds for the benefits of students in the Division. The Board of Directors of N.O.F.I. is requesting donations for the purpose of enhancing these funds. Employees joining this plan will have the donated amount deducted automatically each payroll and forwarded to the fund indicated below under the N.O.F.I. Foundation. Your annual T4 slip will indicate the donated amount for income tax purposes. Please indicate the amount of your per pay deduction on the line provided. DECLARATION: I authorize Frontier School Division to deduct the amount indicated below from my regular pay: Native Clans Fund - Awarded annually to one male and one female graduate of FCI entering post- $ secondary education preferably in the field of physical education. John W. Milner Memorial Scholarship Fund - Awarded annually to a graduating student of FSD $ entering post-secondary education. Friends of Frontier - FCI Scholarship and Special Awards Fund - Awarded annually to a FCI $ graduate entering post-secondary education. Floyd Tucker Memorial Electrical Scholarship Fund - Awarded annually to a FSD student who is $ pursuing a career as an electrician or electrical engineer. Joseph H. Kerr Fund - Awarded annually to two graduates of Joseph H. Kerr School – one student $ will be attending university and the other will be attending a post-secondary institution other than a university. Leaf Rapids Education Centre Fund - Awarded annually to a graduating student with an overall $ average of 60% or higher of Leaf Rapids Education Centre. R.C.A.F. Bursary Fund - Established to make bursaries available to a graduating student of FCI who $ reside in Cranberry Portage, Manitoba. Sherron Loewen Memorial Scholarship Fund - Awarded annually at the graduation ceremonies of $ West Lynn Heights School to a graduating student who has demonstrated leadership and initiative in the school and community who is a resident of Lynn Lake, Manitoba. 1995 Reunion Lynn Lake Scholarship Fund - Awarded annually at the graduation ceremonies of $ West Lynn Heights School to a graduating student who is a resident of Lynn Lake, Manitoba and will be furthering their education at a post-secondary institution in Manitoba. Humanitarian Award - Awarded annually to a graduating student from a FSD High School or FSD $ Home Placement in recognition of volunteer experience, academic standing, participation in sports and fitness as well as community service. Manitoba Metis Federation Wabowden Scholarship Fund – Awarded annually to graduating $ students of Mel Johnson School.
