Group Tours & Travel LLC Our day begins with a visit to The Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, consistently rated as one of the finest gardens in the metropolitan area. Spring is in the air and with it comes a rainbow of colors throughout the 52-acres of gardens and open spaces. Now is a special time of year to view these floral delights since the garden’s Cherry Blossoms should be in full bloom. Make sure to explore the more than 200 cherry trees along its Esplanade, the Cherry Walk and Japanese Pond Garden. Other highlights are the bonsai museum and the roses, magnolias, lilacs, wildflowers, orchids, and rhododendrons which should be in or near bloom.
