Attire : Participants are requested to wear suitable attire for social activity and community services. Synopsis Tanjung Balau Beach is located nearby Desaru and Bandar Penawar. Travel time from Johor Bahru is approximately an hour. Tanjung Balau has a long stretch of beach running down its coastline. This beach has its own distinctive nature uniqueness. It is not very big but expansive enough to offer nature lovers a place to get out of the regular life and experience nature up-close. Environmental sustainability is essential at the rapid development of technologies so as to maintain the quality of life for the future generation. Therefore, engineers being the key people in nation building shall take the proactive role in the effort of preserving and protecting the environment. In view of this, IEM (Southern Branch) is organizing the community cleaning services at Sungai Bantang to promote the environmental awareness of Engineers and publics towards the sustainability and quality of living. We are pleased to invite all members to participate in this activity.
