In each episode we put a group of contestants through an onslaught of zombie themed survival challenges and let them battle it out to become the last standing Zombie Apocalypse Survivor and claim their cash prize. How many times have you watched a movie with someone who can’t shut up about how the characters are “doing it all wrong?” In Zombie Apocalypse Survivor the participants will “live” the movie and get to put their brains, brawn, and survival skills where their mouths are. Viewers at home will enjoy watching the Zombie themed challenges play out, as they identify with various participants and their approaches to the challenges as well as their interactions with each other in this fun, frightening, and fantastic world. THE TONE With this unique space we have the option to take the show in a variety of different directions in regards to tone. One direction could be in the more serious, eerie tone of the traditional zombie horror lm- a combination of “The Walking Dead” and “Survivor,” where not only is a cash prize on the line, but so is your life. The other direction would be in the direction of the recent trend in whimsical Zombie comedy lms- a combination of the lm “Zombie Land” and “Wipe Out, where we compete yet also have fun with the genre. NY CA THE CHALLENGES Each episode will include a series of zombie themed challenges that the contes- tants must compete in to come out on top as the ultimate survivor. THE CONTESTANTS There are groups all over the country who run their own homemade versions of Zombie Apocalypse Survivor every weekend. They range from zombie lm buffs who put themselves into zombie situations from actual lms for the fun of it, to survival fanatics who truly believe that the real Zombie Apocalypse will arrive in the near future and they must be prepared. We have the option to showcase the group dynamic and have our contestants compete as teams (Survivor) or to break it down to individual competitors and it’s every man for himself (Fear Factor). Team Play- Teams of 4-5 contestants from different parts of the country compete as a group and work together to win the show. These teams could be made up of the real life teams from around the country that play Zombie games on the weekend. Example: The Zombie Survival Redneck Militia from Alabama take on the Zombie Geek Squad from Palo Alto. Partners- We exploit the partner dynamic and have 2 man teams work with each other to conquer the challenges and beat the other partners in the competition (Amazing Race). Individual Competition- it’s an every man for himself competition and only the most skilled Zombie survivor will emerge victorious. NY CA FORMATS Zombie Apocalypse Survivor’s format is exible and can be shaped to t a networks needs. Whether it’s individual stand alone episodes with a winner at the end of every show or a seasonal arc where the same core of contestants compete over multiple episodes and a nal survivor is crowned at the end of the season. Stand Alone Episodes Each week is a new group of competitors who come on to challenge themselves in our post-apocalyptic zombie lled world. 2-3 zombie challenges in each episode will determine that episodes winner.
