For many years his work has been featured in The Baker Street Journal, The Sherlock Holmes Journal, Armchair Detective Magazine, Baker Street Miscellanea and others. He is a member of The Baker Street Irregulars, The Sons of the Copper Beeches, and many other societies, and is a co-founder of The Clients of Sherlock Holmes. He lives in Columbus, Ohio with his wife, Sherry Rose-Bond. Mark Gagen is the co-founder of Wessex Press, and its Sherlockian imprint, Gasogene Books. He is a member of The Baker Street Irregulars and The Illustrious Clients of Indianapolis, and a co- founder of the 140 Varieties of Tobacco Ash.
