Rosters for the fifth annual Field of Dreams Game presented by Lackawanna County at PNC Field on June 4 at 5 p.m. have been set. Teams of 20 consisting of high school senior baseball players representing the Lackawanna League and the Wyoming Valley Conference will take to the field to compete against each other on the area’s biggest stage for baseball. The Lackawanna League will be represented by West Scranton shortstop Cole Stetzar and outfielder Griffin Loureiro, Riverside shortstop Nick Sotille, Dunmore shortstop John Mandarano and catcher Andrew Salzman, Scranton pitcher Jack Kelly, Valley View pitchers Nate Seprosky and Joey Castellani, Scranton Prep catcher Kyler McAllister, Holy Cross second baseman Josh Mies, Delaware Valley shortstop Christin Jorgenson, Western Wayne outfielder Cameron Kilgallon, Forest City pitcher R.J. Kuruts, Elk Lake pitcher Zach Groover, Blue Ridge shortstop Jake Decker and pitcher Derek Stento, Abington Heights first baseman Jake Swank and outfielder Colin McCreary, and North Pocono outfielder Patrick Noon and shortstop Pat Kravitz. North Pocono manager Brian Jardine will manage the Lackawanna League squad. He will be assisted by the Trojans coaching staff and Abington Heights head coach Bill Zalewski. Representatives of District 2 champions Old Forge, Holy Redeemer, Dallas, and Wallenpaupack, and District 2 runner-up Lakeland were ineligible to play in the game due to their PIAA State Tournament games on Monday. The Wyoming Valley Conference will be represented by Meyers outfielder Colin Pasone and first baseman Ryan Gilgallon, Wyoming Area outfielder Mike Bonita and pitcher Josh Kopcza, Pittston Area shortstop Kyle O’Fier and pitcher Tyler Jackson, Coughlin second baseman Jacob Lupas and third baseman Chase Nowak, Tunkhannock pitcher Conner Hulslander, Hazleton Area pitcher Colin Stauffer, outfielder Livan Reinoso and catcher Dayan Reinoso, GAR third baseman Ismael Lake, Crestwood pitcher James Graves and catcher Steve Wegener, Wyoming Valley West outfielders Rich Sott and Dom Bayo, Hanover Area second baseman Kyle Kowalski, Nanticoke Area third baseman Kyle Pokrinchak and Berwick pitcher Austin Horsefield. Nanticoke outfielder Aaron Kreitzer was named honorary captain of the WVC squad. Berwick manager Brian Pinterich will lead the WVC team. He will be assisted by Northwest skipper Lou DiPasquale and manager Gino Cara of Hazleton Area.
