The Predator is equipped with a laser guided AGM-114 Hellfire Anti-Armor missiles. It is designed roughly 29 feet long and 49 foot wingspan. This robot sweep mines by slapping chains onto the ground. By doing this it will apply enough force to trigger the explosion. It can be programed to drive by its self, so no one gets hurt. Today the government is creating new military robots to help out in battles or wars. For example they created a robot called The Walking Reality which is used to carry supplies for troops and they have the Fire Crew robots which is used for tackle onboard ships run by the U.S. Navy. Many other robots are still being made and used to serve the military. And not only regular robots will be made but also make soldiers into cyborgs. To do so, the government started to create exoskeletons and many types of wearable computers, a definition of a super soldier! With these technology equipment the military will be stronger and powerful. Oh and of course the government is working on a project to create robotic dogs that can be controlled by each soldier! The soldiers could one day assign robot helpers special missions that can make things easier. Each robot that will be created is going to change how we see in the battle fields. Less soldiers will be injured and less lives will be at risk. Many years from now, if we be in a battle or war, the fields will look like a scene from Star Wars or Transformers! When we lost we tried to make improvements. They may be different but they both consist of heavy armor, heavy fire power, and defensive or offensive tactics. Tanks, troop carriers, and armored cars share these similarities proving to be front of the line combatants. Our robot was sparked by the creativity of combing designs of each vehicle to make a fully equipped machine proving to be successful in combat. Tanks are heavy armored machines made for offensive tactical situations. There articulated metal tracks prove to be useful in tough terrains helping with maneuverability. The idea of this concept of continuous metal helped design the lower part of our battle bot. Adding the tracks sufficiently increased the stiffness , durability, and strength. These offense tactics are useful for being able to push opponents and not being able to be pushed. Troop carriers are armored vehicles with storage areas designed to carry troops. This vehicle is heavy armored to protect cargo or military troops. The idea involving storage areas seems useful to placing weights into the inner shell of the our battle bot armor. While the storage areas helped with weights they also assisted with fully keeping the attack arm steady when in combat. both these tactical upgrades helped with offense and defense as the robot can fully attack opponent while defending its balloon. Anti air crafts are armored weapons used for taking down opponents in long ranges. Air crafts are used for protecting naval while targeting both air and ground units in any location. The idea to locate any opponent in a high range contributed to our battle bot arm build. As our battle bot arm will expand unfolding its self in a hostile situation targeting opponent. We can also enable key board to access different controlling tactics using letters to activate motors. The program is called NXT remote and I included a screenshot above. Testing We had lots of battles in class to make our robots better. When something broke or fell off, we improved it.
