Pig is good at getting the job done, wrapping up all the loose ends, and closing the deal. Pig is also charming, kind-hearted, and willing to go above and beyond. She finds pleasure in the finer things in life and values material things, as well as a soft luxurious home where she can settle in for the night. Pigs have a beautiful personality and are blessed with good fortune in life. Pigs, like the rest of the animals, also have aspects about themselves they need to work on. It’s always beneficial to know about our shadow side so we know of it’s potential to intrude, guide, or transcend our experiences. Some of these traits show up in the Pig in the way they can easily be taken advantage of due to their eagerness to help others. So, Pig needs to learn to not be so gullible and to take responsibility when things don’t work out the way they had planned. We are co-creators in this life experience and each one of us plays our part in what is created. Don’t be so quick to blame or play the victim archetype. Pig is known for excess — and when not checked, can lead to impulsive and addictive behavior. Going to extreme is the name of their game. This 2019 energy, written above, will influence us all in one way or another, depending on the animals you have in your Chinese astrology birth chart. Find your birth year animal within the following pages to see how your Life Path will fair. And pay attention this year to see how the Pig energy is showing up for you. The last time Pig showed up for us was 12 years ago in 2007 — take a moment to reflect back on that year — does anything stand out that may assist you in preparing for this time?
