Being the 7th edition of the AFC Futsal Club Championship, there Group A: Chonburi Bluewave(THA), Nagoya Oceans(JPN), Vic Vipers FC(AUS) was a marked improvement in the overall level of competition with the majority of the Group B: Tasisat Daryaei FSC(IRN), Al Mayadeen FC(LIB), FC Almalyk(UZB) teams showing great progress, resulting in Group C: Nafit Al-Wasat(IRQ), Dalian Yuan Dynasty FC(CHN), Dibba Al Hissin SCC(UAE) high tempo matches. A total of 12 clubs participated in this tournament which was Group D: Sanna Khanh HOA FC(VIE), Al Sadd SC(QAT), Taipower FC(TPE) eventually won by Nagoya Oceans who defeated Nafit Al-Wasat in the final. Third place went to Chonburi Bluewave, with July 15 (Match day 1) Dibba Al Hissin grabbing the fourth spot.
