The program, consisting of works by Brahms, Szymanowski and Saint­ Saens, ls open to the public. Now a resident of Newport, Polish born Mr. Spzinalsld studied at the Imperial Conservatory bl Moscow, the Conservatory of Music bl Warsaw d the Modern Institute of the Violin in Paris under such masters as Moscow's Hrimaly and Par ls' Lucien Capet. Having made his American debut in Chicago, his musical activity in this country has centered mainly in the mid•west whei:e he has been on the faculty of the Universities of Chicago and Wisconsin and a member of the Chicago Symphony. Mr. Szpinalskl' s interpretations, highly acclaimed by both European and American critics. are rendered on his "Naohez" Stradivarius. A concert pianist of renown in Euroi)e and America, Mr. Wallenborn studied under Rudolph Ganz at the University of_Chicago , Max Pauei.· in Leipzig and George Bertram In Berlin. He has been soloist with the leading orchestr as in Europe and has appeared as co-artist with such as singers Rose Bampton, Helen Jepson and Richard Bonelli, and viollnlsts Szplnalskl. Roman Totenberg and Mischa Mlschnkoff. He is presently artist-ln- resldence at Washlngtoii University 1n St. ·Louts• . #f # #!I fft# ' January 30, 1968 .
