Conservation Area CONSERVATION The majority of our work is conservation based. With our office located in the North Oxford Victorian Suburb Conservation Area, we have become experts at assisting clients to re-model and extend their properties whilst maintaining the status of the suburb as one of the most complete conservation areas in Britain. We understand the character and aesthetic of the area and pride ourselves on the fact we continue to positively contribute to the built environment around us. We work with our clients to develop bespoke design solutions whilst pushing the boundaries of planning policy to add value and ensure project viability. Trinity Hall. Conservation Area LISTED BUILDINGS With our experience of listed buidlings we understand that these historical assets are unique and irreplaceable; we recognise the importance of preserving their special character, whilst achieving the goals of our clients. Our solutions are sensitive, sometimes challenging, but always appropriate to the host building. We work closely with our clients, local authority conservation officers and contractors to ensure the best solution is achieved. North Oxford Conservation Area Trinity Hall. Grade II Listed Planning granted - on site in 2014 TRINITY HALL Trinity Hall was designed by renowned architect William Wilkinson. It suffered badly through being converted and used as student flats for over a decade. The project involved complete refurbishment and considerable extension to the property to create a beautiful family home. Through extending at the lower ground floor and basement levels we were able to add a significant floor space to the property whilst retaining its stature within the Conservation Area. The impressive stone frontage porch, wall and railings were reinstated. We also undertook a large three storey extension to the rear and two storey extension to the side of the property. The resulting house is a substantial family home, which has been commended by the Oxford Preservation Trust for its positive impact on the North Oxford Victorian Suburb Conservation Area.
